What should I expect for my first service?
A: How to have a great laundry experience:
1. On the day of pick-up, have your items in any cinchable bags of your choice (trash bags work great) and simply hand them off either in person or by leaving outside your home.
2. Our driver will pick them up during the time window.
3. Cross laundry off your to-do list!
4. Next Day Service — your driver will bring everything back to you at your delivery time.
Do I need to sort my items, such as dark from lights and whites?
A: No, this is supposed to be easy for you, remember? Leave the sorting to us!
How much is your laundry service?
A: For the wonderful Wash & Fold Laundry Co. experience, our service costs $2.24 per pound.
We clean clothing, sheets, towels, curtains, comforters, pillows, blankets, down items, rugs, etc. (please see pricing list for specialty items).
What is an average weekly laundry order?
A: For a family of 4-5, an average is approximately 40-45 lbs per week.
Am I supposed to weigh my items before Wash & Fold Laundry Co. picks up?
A: No, we will do that for you. To approximate the number of pounds of laundry you have, consider a normal sized load for a residential washer is about 10-12 pounds of laundry. How many loads do you have? Multiply that by 10-12 for an approximate total weight. For a more precise measurement, you could even weigh your laundry bags on a bathroom scale at home (though it may be slightly different from our trade certified scale).
How are clean clothes packed for delivery?
A: We pack like-items in individual drawer-ready bags aimed at keeping your laundry ready for the drawer. Shirts with shirts. Pants with pants. Kids clothes with kids clothes, etc. All wash and fold garments are returned crisply folded.
Is there a limit to how much I can send to be washed?
A: No.
You can send all your laundry in at one time to be washed. Please note orders over 75 pounds may take an additional day to process.
Can I send my own hangers?
A: We will always be sure your hanging items are returned back to you on your own hangers :)
No hangers? No problem! For loads with no hangers, Wash & Fold Laundry Co. can provide wire hangers for you!
Do you iron?
A: We do not offer ironing.
What detergent do you use?
A: We offer a variety of choices to accommodate all preferences. Simply select the options you’d like and update at any time.

What should I put my laundry in?
A: Any plastic bags of your choice (trash bags work great) or cinchable laundry bags — hampers or baskets will not be accepted. And don’t worry about labeling or tagging your bags, our driver will do that for you!
Do you check pockets?
A: Yes, we do! Items like pens and gum etc. can damage clothing so we take special care to check each and every pocket.
I want my laundry washed, dried, or folded a specific way. Is that possible?
A: Absolutely! You have full control over how your laundry is done. Choose the water temperature, the type of detergent, and whether you like fabric softener or not. You can also tell us how you like your items dried and folded.
